Photos of 1940s New York through Stanley Kubrick’s Lens

Stanley Kubrick is brilliant, amazing, a film god. He started out as a photographer for Look Magazine in the 1940’s alongside Weegee. Here are links to some of his images from that time on the Museum of the City of New York’s website – his vision and viewpoint come through as strongly in the still image as they do in his movies.
